To provide insight into the quality of books produced in Latvia and current design trends, since 1994, the Latvian Publishers’ Association submits the award-winning books of the book design competition “The Golden Apple-tree” to the competitions “Best Book Design from All over the World” (Germany) and “Baltic Book Art“, which is held annually in one of the capitals of the Baltic States.
